Yep, it's that time of year again when talented artists and writers can apply for the chance to learn and possibly work with the masters behind the DC universe. The application process begins today for the Artists Workshop through March 1, while the Writers Workshop will begin accepting online applications from March 1-31.

These DC Workshops, which are led by an all-star talent line-up including Jim Lee, Scott Snyder, Klaus Janson and Andy Kubert, are designed to give access and a voice to new and prospective talent, providing an opportunity to showcase their work following intensive DC workshop sessions.

DC Entertainment co-publisher and industry legend Jim Lee notes:

Finding and fostering fresh, new voices—the DC Talent Program is a vital component of reaching out, discovering and developing the next generation of talent.

There's a lot to put together to get selected for one of these cherished positions, so get started now. Visit the Official Site's Overview for all the details.

The previous workshops have brought talented artists and writers together from, literally, all over the world. So proximity is not a factor, but what is a factor is your availability to travel to the DC offices in Burbank, California for an extended stay. Here are last year's participants:
