For summer 2012 and the 2012–13 television season, WBTV is producing nearly 30 primetime series, with shows on each of the five broadcast networks, in addition to cable’s TNT, Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim and Showtime.
WBTV’s continuing series include TV’s #1 comedy of the 2011–12 season among Total Viewers in “The Big Bang Theory,” the #1 new TV series of 2011–12 among Total Viewers in “Person of Interest” and the #1 new comedy of 2011–12 among Adults 18–49 and Total Viewers in “2 Broke Girls,” as well as “The Closer,” “Fringe,” “Gossip Girl,” “Hart of Dixie,” “The Mentalist,” “The Middle,” “Mike & Molly,” “Nikita,” “Shameless,” “Southland,” “Suburgatory,” “Supernatural,” “Two and a Half Men,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Childrens Hospital.”
New series include one-hour dramas “666 Park Avenue,” “Arrow,” “The Carrie Diaries,” “Cult,” “The Following,” “Golden Boy,” “Major Crimes” and “Revolution,” along with comedies “Partners” and “Newsreaders.”
