President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution

Ronald (Ron) J. Sanders is President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution, where he oversees the global distribution of home entertainment product from Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE).

In this role, Sanders is responsible for all the Studio’s transactional home entertainment businesses globally (video, digital, and games). His purview includes oversight of sales, marketing, finance, supply chain management, legal and human resources. Warner Bros. has enjoyed the leading market share among Hollywood studios in the video and digital home entertainment arena since 2004.

From 2005 to 2013, Sanders served as President, Worldwide, Warner Home Video. Following the restructuring of the Studio’s television and home entertainment operations in May 2013, he added oversight of WBIE’s global distribution activities, as well as Warner Bros.’ global electronic sell-through and transactional video-on-demand businesses. Additionally, Sanders works closely with DC Entertainment with regard to the retail distribution of DC Entertainment-branded products.

Sanders joined WHV in 1991 and held various leadership positions within the organization, including Vice President, Rental Sales and Vice President, Sell-Through Sales, before being promoted in 1999 to Managing Director, United Kingdom & Ireland, based in London. In 2000, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he oversaw the company’s efforts in 28 territories. Returning to the U.S. in 2002, Sanders was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager, North America before being named President, Worldwide in 2005.

In recognition of his leadership within the industry, Sanders became president of the Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) in 2008, a trade association representing Hollywood film studios, electronics manufacturers, computer makers and digital delivery companies. That same year, he was inducted into Variety's Home Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Prior to Warner Bros., Sanders held positions with Procter & Gamble and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in Alabama. In addition to serving as an Emeritus Member of the Auburn University School of Business Advisory Council, Sanders is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
