Ed Romano is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Warner Bros. Entertainment, a post he has held since 1994. In this capacity he is responsible for all financial activities of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting and planning for future business growth. In addition, he is also responsible for management information services, studio facilities and corporate real estate.
During his tenure with the company, Romano has served as Assistant Treasurer, Controller, Vice President & Controller, and Senior Vice President & Controller before being promoted to his current post.
Beyond his company responsibilities, Romano is also involved in a number of industry-related activities. He is a member of both the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and currently serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Treasurer of the Board of Directors at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Foundation in Burbank, California.
Romano joined Warner Bros. in 1968, after serving five years at the public accountancy firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.
