Jeff Robinov
President, Warner Bros. Pictures Group and Office of the President

Jeff Robinov was named President, Warner Bros. Pictures Group upon its founding in November 2007. In this position, he has oversight of all aspects of production of the movies produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and its partner production entities. The heads of the Studio’s theatrical physical production, post production, worldwide marketing, and domestic and international distribution teams report directly to Robinov, and he shares oversight of the Studio’s direct-to-platform production arm, Warner Premiere, with the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. Additionally, Robinov, along with the heads of the Studio’s television and home entertainment groups, forms Warner Bros.’ Office of the President, reporting to the CEO, to guide the company at a time of convergence of content and distribution platforms throughout the entertainment industry.

Since Robinov assumed his new role, Warner Bros. Pictures has enjoyed a string of critical and box office successes significantly underscored by “The Dark Knight,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” “The Blind Side,” “The Hangover,” “Clash of the Titans,” “Inception” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.”

Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2011 release slate includes “Arthur,” “The Hangover Part II,” “Green Lantern,” “Horrible Bosses” (from New Line Cinema), “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2,” “Happy Feet 2,” “New Year’s Eve” (also from New Line) and “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.”

In 2010, the Warner Bros. Pictures Group broke the all-time global box office record with a gross of $4.81 billion, surpassing the prior record of $4.010 billion (set by Warner Bros. in 2009). The Pictures Group also set a new benchmark for international box office, $2.93 billion, and retained its domestic box office number one ranking with $1.88 billion in receipts.

Robinov previously served as President, Production, Warner Bros. Pictures and during his tenure in that post, Warner Bros. Pictures won Best Picture Academy Awards for “Million Dollar Baby” (2004) and “The Departed” (2006) and the Best Animated Feature Oscar for “Happy Feet” (2006). Other notable films produced under Robinov’s leadership include “Michael Clayton,” “300,” “Ocean’s 13,” “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” “Superman Returns,” “Syriana,” “Ocean’s 12,” “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “Troy,” “The Last Samurai” and The Matrix films.

Prior to serving as President, Production, Robinov was Executive Vice President, Production for two years, having joined Warner Bros. Pictures in 1997 as Senior Vice President, Production. Before coming to the Studio, Robinov spent three years as an agent with International Creative Management, handling the careers of such writer-directors as the Hughes brothers (“From Hell”), the Wachowskis (The Matrix trilogy) and Academy Award winner Christopher McQuarrie (“The Usual Suspects”). Robinov started his career as an agent at Writers & Artists.

He is married to Nicole and has a son, Reece, and two daughters, India and Devan.
