Kevin Tsujihara
President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group and Office of the President, Warner Bros. Entertainment

Kevin Tsujihara was named President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group upon its founding in October 2005. The Home Entertainment Group includes the Studio’s home video, digital distribution, games, anti-piracy and emerging technology operations. As its President, Tsujihara has positioned WBHEG as an industry trendsetter, having made a number of groundbreaking deals in the home entertainment space. Additionally, Tsujihara, along with the heads of the Studio’s theatrical and television groups, forms Warner Bros.’ Office of the President, reporting to the CEO, to guide the company at a time of convergence of content and distribution platforms throughout the entertainment industry.

Under his leadership, WBHEG continues to be a major player in the home video arena and is ranked as the U.S. market share leader in both DVD and Blu-ray Disc. To complement its packaged goods business, Warner Bros. is exploring innovative ways to distribute content across various digital platforms, pioneering both domestic and international day-and-date VOD. From movies and television to Motion Comics and wireless games, the Studio’s content is now available on a wide variety of platforms including iTunes worldwide, numerous cable and satellite providers, Xbox LIVE and more.

Tsujihara has also guided significant deals in the games space, including the acquisitions of Turbine, TT Games, Snowblind Studios, the assets of Midway Games and a majority stake in Rocksteady Studios. Utilizing the existing global infrastructure within the Home Entertainment Group along with these strategic investments, Warner Bros. has rapidly become a large-scale, full-service global games publisher. Tsujihara also led Warner Bros.’ investment in OnLive, a revolutionary on-demand gaming platform that promises to instantly stream games to almost any television, PC or Mac via broadband connection.

Prior to his current post, Tsujihara served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Business Development & Strategy, Warner Bros. Entertainment and before that, Executive Vice President, New Media, responsible for the oversight of all Warner Bros.’ new media endeavors. He joined Warner Bros. in 1994 as Director, Special Projects, Finance to assist in the management of the company’s interest in Six Flags.

Tsujihara received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and his MBA from Stanford University. Upon attaining his MBA from Stanford, Tsujihara founded QuickTax, Inc., an Internet company specializing in applying the convenience of the Internet to functions such as the electronic filing of tax and financial data. Prior to attending Stanford, he spent four years as a manager in Ernst & Young’s entertainment division, working in the audit and merger and acquisitions areas.

In addition to serving as President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, Tsujihara also sits on the Board of Directors for OnLive, the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, CA and The Entertainment Software Association.
