Monique Esclavissat Named Executive Vice President, Europe And Latin America Distribution, For Warner Bros. Pictures International
(March 15, 2010 – Burbank, CA) - Monique Esclavissat, who has overseen European Distribution for Warner Bros. Pictures International, based in London, has been tapped to relocate to the Studio’s worldwide headquarters in Burbank and take on the additional Latin American distribution operations as Executive Vice President, Europe and Latin America Distribution. The announcement was made today by Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, President, Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures International.
Esclavissat is responsible for regional supervision of Warner Bros. Pictures’ distribution activities in Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and, now, Latin America.
“Monique is an outstanding executive who has dedicated the last decade to expanding and innovating our European operations,” Kwan-Rubinek said. “We are delighted that she will now be joining us at the home office to apply her creativity and expertise to our rapidly expanding Latin American markets.”
“I’m very excited to join Veronika and the distribution team in Burbank to develop and reinforce successful distribution strategies in Latin America,” Esclavissat said.
Esclavissat joined Warner Bros. Pictures International as Vice President, Distribution, in 1998, and quickly moved through the ranks to become Executive Vice President, European Distribution, in 2005. Prior to this, she worked in London as Vice President, International Sales & Distribution, for Castle Rock International, preceded by a role as Sales Director at Mayfair Entertainment, and as an economist at Daiwa Securities.
Esclavissat has lived in Mexico, France, the UK and Los Angeles, and is fluent in several languages, including French, English, Spanish and Italian. # # #
