Warner Bros. International Television Production Deutschland GmbH Appoints Thomas Fischer as Head of Factual Entertainment
Since 2009, Thomas Fischer has acted as producer and executive producer for Warner Bros. ITVP Deutschland GmbH, formerly Eyeworks. He was instrumental in the realization of new formats; among others, he was responsible for the execution and production of the ZDF hit show “Bares für Rares” with Horst Lichter. As senior producer, Fischer helped launch the format and in the role of executive producer further developed it from a weekly to a daily program. More than 250 episodes of the show have been produced to date.
In his new capacity, Fischer will further expand the areas of factual entertainment, docutainment, and reality TV, and responsibly maintain ongoing productions. This position was recently vacant.

The new Head of Factual Entertainment has been with the company since 2009. He had previously worked as producer, director, and author for renowned international production companies. Among other things, he produced the format “Das perfekte Dinner,” which was awarded the Deutscher Fernsehpreis in 2007.
