"IT" is Coming Your Way
Updated September 12
After a record-breaking weekend as horror's number one opening ever, Reddit is about to get a visit from Benjamin Wallfisch, the man behind IT's spine-tingling score. The award-winning composer will field an Ask-Me-Anything over at https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/ beginning at 11 am PST. Don't miss this rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the score for IT was created and any other questions Wallfisch chooses to field. This is the wild world of Reddit, afterall!

The competition was fierce, to put it mildly. To see all the entries, click on over to the official Fan Art site.
There's more great IT artwork to be seen at the Los Angeles Gallery 1988. Through September 3 the gallery will be hosting an IT art experience. Every day a new raffle drawing will be held to win an IT limited edition print from artists such as Jeffrey Everett and Thomas Walker.
Gallery 1988 is located at 7308 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046. Visit from 11 am–6 pm. Can't make it to the exhibit? Many of the pieces are featured in their online gallery.

IT comes around every 27 years and we're both terrified and thrilled as we get ever closer to September 8 when IT comes to theaters and we can finally see the dancing clown for ourselves. If you're as brave as any of the kids in the Losers' Club (we're definitely not) you can even attend an all-clown screening at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin. There will be a pre-party with raffle prizes, a photo booth and face painting (though a true clown should already have their face painted, so think "touch-ups") and lots of surprise scares. Tickets are going fast so order now! You may not be able to scare one up for much longer.
A slew of new photos from the film have just been released—all the better to help you get up close and personal details when planning out your look for any clown screenings you may be attending. For even more photos, videos and info, visit our IT title page.
Face your fears on September 8. Get your tickets now.
We are only weeks away from the long-awaited big screen debut of Stephen King’s classic horror tale IT, and there’s been a lot happening as we get closer and closer to visiting Derry, Maine. It’s in this small town where children are disappearing at a rapid rate and a group of kids, who call themselves the Losers' Club, must face their own fears as they take on the evil clown named Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård stars in the iconic role), whose history of murder and mayhem dates back centuries.
Here are just a few of the recent promotional activities to keep you busy until evil is unleashed around the world next month:
Neibolt House Hollywod
While all dates are sold out, you can visit without reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis, although there are no guarantees of entry. More details here.
FLOAT – Cinematic VR Experience
For the ultimate frightening experience, check out all the different VR experiences for this video here.
Fan Art Contest
This past June, fans created and submitted their own IT artwork and you can see many of these creatively evil entries here.
Enter the Sewer Game
And if you have the guts, you can join Pennywise underground in the brand new Enter the Sewer Game.
IT arrives in theaters September 8.
