(September 17, 2014 – Burbank, CA) – In its first two airings of its premiere season, “The Real” is exhibiting growth with key Women demos, improving on the prior year (Sept. 13 time period), with W18-34 (+20%), W18-49 (+60%) and W25-54 (+29%).
The series is averaging a 0.9 rating among primary occurrences with key W25-54, and is +80% stronger than Meredith’s primary telecast average to date (0.5 W25-54 rtg). Similar trend holds true with younger W18-34 (+200% stronger) & W18-49 (+167% stronger).
The Real is improving time periods in nearly half of the top 25 LPM markets (11 of 25), including the top 3 markets in the country (Based on W25-54 Rating).

On the first two days, “The Real” wins its time period with key W25-54 in Los Angeles & Washington DC.
“The Real” is delivering key younger demos, with nearly +58% actual of her audience being W18-49 and +62% of W25-54, the highest concentration of all Talk shows.
On Tuesday with key W25-54, “The Real” is displaying stronger lead-in retention than on its debut, retaining 86% of its lead-in among primary airings (vs. 78% share retention on Monday).
