(December 14, 2004 – Burbank, CA & Portland, OR) – The upcoming one-hour syndicated talk show “The Tyra Banks Show” will replace “The Tony Danza Show” on Portland, Oregon’s KGW-TV, the Belo-owned NBC affiliate, in the nation’s 24th largest market beginning fall 2005. “The Tony Danza Show” delivered a 1.6 rating/6 share during the November 2004 sweeps which is -47% in rating, -55% in share from its “Today Show 2” (3.0/11) lead-in and -52% in rating, -55% in share from the November 2003 year-ago time period (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” 3.3/11). “We’ve had a terrific response from stations,” said Jim Paratore, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros.
