“The Tyra Banks Show” Sold In Denver, San Diego & Spokane
(December 20, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Stations in Denver, San Diego and Spokane have bought the upcoming one-hour syndicated talk show “The Tyra Banks Show” for afternoon time periods beginning in fall 2005. McGraw-Hill’s KMGH in Denver and KGTV in San Diego, ABC affiliates in the nation’s 18th and 26th largest markets, and KHQ (NBC affiliate) in Spokane have signed on for the series. These stations join the previously announced KGW-TV, the Belo-owned NBC affiliate, in Portland, Oregon, which bought the series earlier this week.
“We’ve had a terrific response from stations,” said Jim Paratore, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and President, Telepictures Productions. “Tyra’s show is targeting the new generation of daytime viewers and stations see this as a great opportunity to build a long-term franchise and news lead-in for the future.”
As the voice of a new generation of women, “The Tyra Banks Show” will entertain and inform by providing insight into the relevant issues facing today's young women.
"The Tyra Banks Show," produced by Bankable Productions & Handprint Entertainment in association with Telepictures Productions, is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
