“Anderson” Cleared In 89% Of U.S. For 2012
(December 7, 2011 – Burbank, CA) – The Allbritton station group is the most recent station group to renew Telepictures Productions’ new, one-hour talker “Anderson” for a second season. All in all, the series is now cleared in more than 89% of the country for 2012. Markets included in the Allbritton deal are Washington (WJLA-TV), Harrisburg (WHTM-TV), Little Rock (KATV-TV), Tulsa (KTUL-TV), and Roanoke (WSET-TV). The deal was announced today by Rick Meril, Executive Vice President/General Sales Manager, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
“We have great faith in ‘Anderson,’” said Meril. “We are thrilled that the Allbritton station group shares our vision of the show becoming the next early-fringe syndication franchise.”
“Anderson” has already been renewed by The Fox Television Stations in Los Angeles Los Angeles (KTTV-TV), Chicago (WFLD-TV), and Boston (WFXT-TV), and was newly acquired by the group for stations in New York (WNYW-TV), Minneapolis (KMSP-TV) and Tampa (WTVT-TV). Other renewed station groups include LIN, Meredith, Gannett, Lilly Group, and Sun Broadcasting.
“Anderson” covers a wide range of topics and the provocative stories and personal stories behind the headlines as well as insightful celebrity interviews. Whether discussing social issues, trends and events, pop culture, human interest stories, Anderson involves viewers in the studio audience and at home in a daily discussion that is both informative and entertaining.
