The release coincides with the much-anticipated limited theatrical release on December 22 of "Dreamgirls" starring Beyonce Knowles, Jaime Foxx and Eddie Murphy, which is scheduled for a broad national release in January 2007. "Sparkle" features a special bonus soundtrack with music composed and produced by the late Curtis Mayfield and features the voice of Grammy®-winning legend and Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
