(February 15, 2005 – Burbank, CA) - Becky Diver has been named Director, U.K. Marketing, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Diver will develop and implement WBITD’s UK/Ireland marketing strategies, working closely with executives to coordinate cross-divisional initiatives to maximize publicity and marketing activities for all of the Company's television properties. She will oversee the marketing relationships with local broadcasters, while managing the publicity and product planning across all platforms and ensuring marketing strategies are optimally integrated. Based in London, she will report to Chandra Years, Vice President, European Marketing, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and Alison Cressey, Group Marketing Director, Warner Bros. Entertainment U.K. “Becky’s history of successful programming launches makes her a valuable addition to WBITD’s marketing team,” said Schlesinger. “Her commitment to innovative and results-oriented strategies, along with her background experience, will ensure that our programs will be marketed to achieve their greatest potential.” Prior to joining WBITD, Diver spent a total of eight years at British Sky Broadcasting, most recently serving as Head of Marketing, having begun at Sky in 1997 as a marketing communications manager. During 1999 she was a product manager for Columbia Tristar’s DVD and home video division in Sydney. She began her career as a marketing and promotions manager at Bass PLC. Diver holds a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a certificate in management from the Nottingham Trent University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Leeds Metropolitan University.
