Best Of American Stays With Channel 4 And E4 – Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Deal Signed
(April 1, 2003 - London) - Channel 4 this week signed a new deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, securing the future of the very best of American programming for Channel 4 and E4 viewers.
Both Channel 4 and E4 hold the rights to broadcast the next season of “Friends” together with re-runs of all previous series, forthcoming seasons of “ER,” “The West Wing,” “Smallville” and “The Sopranos.”
The deal also includes a new acquisition, the critically acclaimed “Without A Trace” starring ANTHONY LAPAGLIA and MARIANNE JEAN-BAPTISTE, a fast-paced drama about the missing Persons Squad of the FBI, a Jerry Bruckheimer Television production in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Productions.
The deal was brokered by JUNE DROMGOOLE, Channel 4 Controller of Acquisitions and CHRIS LAW, Managing Director, UK Territories, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
