Bill Morningstar Is Rising At The WB As Network Sales Veteran Is Promoted To Top Post Of Senior VP, Media Sales
(March 5, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Bill Morningstar has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Media Sales for The WB, it was announced today by Jed Petrick, the network’s President & Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Morningstar, who previously held the title of Vice President, Eastern Sales, will now manage the network’s sales staff of more than 25, which works out of offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. He will still be based in New York and report to Mr. Petrick. Mr. Morningstar will continue to work with advertising agencies, media buying services and their clients, and is responsible for all network advertising revenues for Kids’ WB! and The WB primetime, which surpassed half a billion dollars in revenue for the second consecutive season in 2000-2001. For the past three seasons, The WB has achieved the greatest CPM increases in the television industry.

Prior to joining The WB in 1994, Mr. Morningstar was a Vice President in the network group at Grey Advertising.
Mr. Morningstar, who lives in Rye, New York in Westchester County with his wife Sally and three children is a graduate of the University of Maryland. # # #
