Bob Brassel Returns To Warner Bros. Pictures
(March 19, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Bob Brassel has been named Senior Vice President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, President of Worldwide Production, Warner Bros. Pictures.
Brassel, who re-joins Warner Bros. Pictures from having served as Vice President of Production at DreamWorks SKG, will supervise the development and production of various feature films for the Studio and report directly to Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
“It’s great to have Bob back at Warner Bros.,” Mr. di Bonaventura said. “I’ve worked with Bob for many years, during which we enjoyed tremendous success. He will be a valuable asset to our team, and I look forward to continued success in the future.”
During his previous tenure at Warner Bros. Pictures, Brassel was involved with the development and production of films including “The Fugitive,” “Outbreak,” “Interview With The Vampire,” “Just Cause,” and “Something to Talk About.”
Brassel joined Warner Bros. Studios in 1986 as Executive Assistant to Mark Canton. In 1987, he was promoted to Production Executive, and rose through the ranks to be named Senior Vice President of Production in 1993.
Brassel graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1982 with a degree in Philosophy. # # #
