Brett Bouttier Joins Telepictures Productions As Vice President, New Business & Sales Strategy
(December 6, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Brett Bouttier has been named Vice President, New Business & Sales Strategy, Telepictures Productions, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Telepictures Productions.
In this newly created position, Bouttier will focus on formulating a business plan and strategy to expand Telepictures’ production activities into cable, as well as explore additional strategic opportunities, in both existing and emerging business areas, including video-on-demand, direct-to-video and brand integration. Based in Burbank, he will report to Estey McLoughlin and Jim Paratore, who serves as President, Telepictures Productions, and Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
“The television business is changing on a daily basis and a company needs to be extremely proactive to stay in the game and excel,” said Estey McLoughlin. “Brett is a forward-thinking, ahead-of-the-curve executive and the perfect choice to head up our strategic planning and new business activities. Working with our senior executive staff, he will maintain Telepictures’ competitive edge and help take us to the next level.”
Bouttier joins Telepictures from NBC Universal Television, where he’d spent his entire professional career, most recently serving as Vice President, Cable Sales and Strategy. Prior to that, he held account executive/station sales positions in the Eastern, Midwestern and West Coast regions of the country. He joined Studios USA/Universal Television as a Research Analyst while a junior at UCLA.
