(March 13, 2002 – Burbank, CA) – Brian Deputy has been appointed Vice President, Creative and Image Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it was announced today by Jordan Sollitto, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Reporting to Sollitto, Deputy will provide creative direction for all products and trade and consumer advertising for Warner Bros. many consumer products’ brands. “Brian is a talented, experienced executive who understands both the creative essence of what we do as well as the business and retail aspects,” Sollitto said. “Surrounded by the finest character illustrators and designers here at Warner Bros. Consumer Products, his vision and leadership will heighten the success of our division.” Prior to joining Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Deputy was responsible for all aspects of graphic design for The Jim Henson Company. In his position as Vice President of Design he managed design groups in London, New York and Los Angeles in developing materials for all of the company's brands and properties. Deputy has also supervised design for Warner Bros. Worldwide Retail, Hanna-Barbera and The Walt Disney Company Consumer Products. His experience includes creative direction, product development and design implementation in print, environmental and new media design. Deputy earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center College of Design and has won multiple design awards from Communication Arts, Graphis, Print and others. Warner Bros.
