Brian Moreno Named Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Warner Bros. Online
(December 12, 2001 - Glendale, CA) - Brian Moreno has been named Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Warner Bros. Online, it was announced today by Jim Noonan, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Warner Bros. Online.
In his new position, Moreno will head the marketing efforts for the division’s entertainment website (www.warnerbros.com), as well as oversee Warner Bros. Online’s overall strategic partnerships, branding, advertising, promotions and public relations. Based in Glendale, Moreno will report directly to Noonan.
“Brian brings to Warner Bros. Online a wealth of marketing experience in both the online and offline spaces,” said Noonan. “His creative vision and ability to execute out-of-the-box campaigns are a real asset in the constantly evolving world of online marketing. We’re delighted to welcome him back to the Warner Bros. family.”
Moreno joins Warner Bros. Online from Style365.com, an affluent lifestyle Internet portal, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Before that, he was Executive Vice President, Worldwide Video, Playboy Entertainment Group.
Prior to that, Moreno spent 10 years in various posts within Warner Bros. and Warner Music Group, including Executive Vice President at WarnerVision Entertainment, and Vice President, Marketing, Worldwide Family Entertainment, Warner Home Video, where he led the team responsible for the successful cross-divisional home video rollout of “Space Jam.” Moreno has also held marketing posts at Lorimar Home Video, Sega Enterprises, Atari, Inc. and advertising agencies DDB and Della Femina, Travisano & Partners.
Moreno holds an MBA and BA in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. # # #
