Bronwyn Savasta Named Vice President, Music, Warner Bros. Television
(December 3, 2002 – Burbank, CA) - Bronwyn Savasta has been promoted to Vice President, Music, making her the new department head, it was announced today by Craig Hunegs, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Television.
“Bronwyn’s proven track record at Warner Bros. Television and her stellar relationships in the music industry make her the ideal choice to run our music department,” said Hunegs.
Bronwyn replaces industry veteran Roxanne Lippel, who is leaving to travel. “On behalf of everyone at Warner Bros. Television, we thank Roxanne Lippel for her outstanding contributions to the company.” added Hunegs.
Savasta will oversee the creative and administrative musical direction of the Warner Bros. Television-produced series, pilots, made-for-television movies and mini-series. She will suggest and employ composers, supervise negotiations with songwriters, recording artists and musicians, as well as secure artists and musical acts to appear on Warner Bros. Television projects.
Savasta, who joined the company in 1996 as a Manager, moved up from Director, Music: a position she has held since 2000.
Prior to Warner Bros., Savasta worked on The Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, World Cup Soccer USA, as well as stints with Columbia Pictures Television and Merv Griffin Enterprises. # # #
