Bruce K. Rosenblum Promoted To Executive Vice President, Media Research, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution And Liz Huszarik Promoted To Senior Vice President, Media Research, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution
(March 21, 2000 – Burbank, CA) - Bruce K. Rosenblum has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Media Research, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and Liz Huszarik has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Media Research, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, it was announced today by Dick Robertson, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
In their new posts, Rosenblum and Huszarik will continue to oversee one of the industry’s premiere media research operations with responsibility for servicing Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Telepictures Distribution, Telepictures Productions, Warner Bros. Domestic Pay-TV, Cable & Network Features and Warner Bros. Media Sales. They will also continue their oversight of Warner Bros.’ state-of-the-art, in-house focus group facility.
Rosenblum and Huszarik have been involved in several major projects during their tenure at Warner Bros., including providing the initial research analysis for the launches of The WB Television Network and Warner Bros. Studio Stores. Both are also actively involved with Warner Bros.’ ongoing negotiations with Nielsen Media Research and various corporate projects.
“These promotions recognize the importance of the contributions Bruce and Liz make not only to our television distribution operation, but across so many different divisions in our company,” said Robertson. “With their hard work and dedication, our Media Research department has become an invaluable asset to many businesses throughout Warner Bros.”
Rosenblum moves up to his new position from Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Corporate Media Research, a title he had held since 1993. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President, Research, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, having previously held the same title at Lorimar-Telepictures. Rosenblum initially joined Telepictures Corp. in 1981 as the company’s first-ever Director of Research. Before that, he held research posts at Paramount Domestic Television Distribution and ASI Market Research, as well as having had served as California State Senator Alan Robbins’ liaison to the California State Motion Picture Development Council.
Huszarik moves into her new post from Vice President, Warner Bros. Corporate Media Research, a position in which she had served since 1994. Before that, she served as Director, Warner Bros. Corporate Media for two years, having joined the company as Manager, Warner Bros. Media Research in 1991. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Huszarik served as an Account Executive at KEYT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, CA, having begun her career as a Programming Associate at TeleRep in New York.
Rosenblum and Huszarik are involved with a number of professional television research organizations including the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Advertising Research Foundation and NATPE, and both frequently serve as experts on industry panels and in college courses. # # #
