(July 2, 2009 - Sofia, Bulgaria and Burbank, CA) – Bulgarian broadcaster PRO.BG, a Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CME) channel, and Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) have signed a new, multiyear programming output deal which will make PRO.BG the new home for television series, theatrical motion pictures and animated titles from the Studio in Bulgaria, it was announced today by Ognian Dimov, general director of PRO.BG Media Ltd., and Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television. The agreement continues PRO.BG’s serious investment in production and programming, which also includes a number of rights deals to professional football (soccer), including the Bulgarian A league as well as UEFA’s Champions League and Europa League. Under terms of the new agreement, which begins in July, PRO.BG has obtained the Bulgarian broadcast rights for new television programs distributed by WBITD, as well as a slate of upcoming motion pictures and a number of feature films from the vast Warner Bros. Entertainment collection. “After six months of very competitive negotiation, we are extremely glad to have landed the most important and biggest deal on our market.
