(July 12, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Chandra Years has been promoted to Vice President, European Marketing, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD), it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Years, who joined WBITD last year as Director, Publicity and Marketing Services based in Burbank, will be relocated to London, where she will oversee WBITD’s marketing, publicity and servicing executives and staffs throughout Europe, as well as work with WBITD’s European sales executives on the marketing campaigns and support of programs distributed by the Company to broadcasters throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She will continue to report to Lisa Gregorian, Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Television Creative Services. “In the short time that Chandra has been a member of our marketing team, she has shown terrific instincts, creative ideas and a style and sensibility consistent with our mission of giving our clients the marketing tools and support necessary for the best shot at success, a commitment which WBITD is known for in our industry,” said Schlesinger. Prior to joining WBITD, Years spent 10 years at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, most recently as Vice President, Marketing, Promotion and Publicity. She started at Twentieth in 1993 as a marketing assistant and was subsequently promoted to Manager, Promotion and Publicity then to Director, Marketing, Promotion and Publicity prior to her elevation to Vice President. Before that, she held posts at ICM, The Steel Company and Vestron Pictures. Years holds a bachelor’s degree in cinema/television and political science from University of Southern California and a master’s degree in marketing/entertainment management from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
