Christina Smith Promoted To Senior Vice President, Financial Administration, Warner Bros. Television
(May 31, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - Christina Smith has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Financial Administration, Warner Bros. Television, where she will oversee all the division’s financial reporting, it was announced today by Craig Hunegs, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Television.
“This newly created position recognizes Christina’s outstanding performance and leadership abilities,” said Hunegs. “Her experience and expertise are invaluable to the company.”
Most recently, Smith served as Vice President, Estimating, where she supervised the financial reporting on the Warner Bros. roster of shows including “ER”, “Friends”, “The West Wing” and “The Drew Carey Show.”
In 1982, Smith began working for Lorimar International Foreign Distribution, handling contracts and receivables and implementing the set up of the International Rights Department. She moved to Lorimar Television Productions in 1988 to become an estimator.
In 1993, Smith was promoted to Director, Estimating and 1995 elevated to Vice President, Estimating, Warner Bros. Television, (Lorimar merged with Warner Bros. Television in 1993). She was named head of the Estimating Department in 1997. # # #
