Chuck Dages Named Executive Vice President, Emerging Technology, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group
(January 17, 2008 – Burbank, CA) - Chuck Dages has been named Executive Vice President, Emerging Technology, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group; it was announced today by Kevin Tsujihara, President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, to whom Dages will directly report.
In his new role, Dages retains his Executive Vice President title but moves from Warner Bros. Technical Operations to the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group where he will continue to have oversight of Motion Picture Imaging (the Studio’s post production facility for film mastering, restoration and digital imaging for motion picture and television) and the Advanced Media Editorial department (prepares feature films for distribution on airlines, cable networks and broadcast television). Additionally, he will lead various projects involving industry and government groups related to repurposing the Studio’s entertainment assets.
Dages will also work closely with Warner Bros. Technical Operations in evaluating and implementing new technologies across all divisions.

Prior to his promotion, Dages served as Executive Vice President, Emerging Technology, Warner Bros. Technical Operations, where he was responsible for identifying new transformational technologies to improve, reinvent or create new business opportunities across all business units.
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Dages held the position of Vice President of East Coast Operations and Vice President, Engineering at CBS Television Network.
Dages holds a B.S.E. from Stevens Institute of Technology and an M.S.E. from Pennsylvania State University, where he was honored as the 2005 Outstanding Engineering Alumni. He is a Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture Engineers; a member of the National Television Academy's Award Committee and Vice Chair of the Technology Committee; Board Chairperson of the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California; TV Advisory Board member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; and member of the Game Developer Association. He has won three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Technical Achievement.# # #
