Dan Lin Named Senior Vice President, Production Warner Bros. Pictures
(March 20, 2006 - Burbank, CA) - Dan Lin has been named Senior Vice President, Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures.
Lin, who joined the Studio in 1999 as a creative executive, was named Vice President, Production in 2002. He is currently in post-production on the Martin Scorsese police drama “The Departed,” starring Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg; and “The Visiting,” starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. He is in production on “Unaccompanied Minors,” written and directed by Paul Feig, and “10,000 B.C.,” directed by Roland Emmerich.
“Dan is a terrific member of our team,” said Robinov. “He has great taste and finds projects that have quality and audience appeal. Dan has strong relationships and the ability to get results, which makes him a great executive."
Lin received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1999. While at business school, he interned for Warner Bros. Pictures before joining the company upon graduation.
