Dave Womack Promoted To Senior Vice President, Financial Investment & Analysis, Warner Bros. Pictures
(July 19, 2005 – Burbank, CA) - Dave Womack has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Financial Investment & Analysis, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Edward Romano, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Warner Bros.
In his new post, Womack will continue to oversee the team of analysts that provide analytic evaluations and data for all aspects for Warner Bros. Pictures’ business, including talent deals, output and distribution agreements, acquisitions, risk analysis, due diligence and business plans.
“Dave is an integral part of our operation and this well-deserved promotion reflects the many invaluable contributions he’s made to our company,” said Romano. A 20-year company veteran, Womack has spent his entire career at the Studio working across almost all of its business units. He began in accounting at Warner Bros. Pictures and spent four years there before moving to Warner Bros. Consumer Products to work with its direct mail catalog operations for a year. He returned to Warner Bros. Pictures in its business affairs department following his stint at WBCP and also spent several years in Corporate Business Development & Strategy. Additionally, Womack has worked with a number of the Studio’s subsidiaries on special projects throughout the years, including The WB Network, Warner Independent Pictures, Warner Bros. International Cinemas, the Studio’s local-language film productions, theme park businesses and digital cinema initiative.
Womack holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Southern California. # # #
