David Decker Promoted To Executive Vice President, Business And Legal Affairs, Telepictures Productions
(January 28, 2009 – Burbank, CA) – David Decker has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, for Telepictures Productions, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President, Telepictures Productions.
In his new role, Decker will continue to oversee all of the day-to-day business operations – including business affairs, legal, finance and administration – for Telepictures, one of the leading producers of first-run syndicated programming and original digital content for the broadband marketplace.
He will also provide business and legal affairs counsel to Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution (WBDTD), one of the leading distributors of entertainment programming to the domestic television marketplace.
Decker reports to Estey McLoughlin for Telepictures and to Ken Werner, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, for services he provides to WBDTD.
Immediately prior to his promotion, Decker had served as Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, Telepictures Productions, since 2004. He had oversight of the company’s business and legal affairs, including negotiating and drafting license fee and production service agreements, rights and format acquisitions and exploitation, and talent agreements for all formats, genres and television platforms.

Prior to joining Telepictures, Decker spent six years at Stone Stanley Entertainment, as Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, a post he was promoted to in 2002, having started with the company in 1998 as Vice President, Business Affairs. Before that, he served as a production attorney in the business affairs department at Buena Vista Television, responsible for all legal aspects of “The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show,” and also as a contract attorney in the legal department of Paramount Pictures Network Television. He has also practiced civil litigation at civil defense law firms in Los Angeles and served as an independent legal consultant to a number of entertainment companies.
Decker holds a juris doctor from Loyola Law School (CA) and a bachelor’s degree in French literature from Dickinson College.
