Debra Baker Promoted To Senior Vice President, Operations For Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
(July 25, 2006 - Burbank, CA) - Debra Baker has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, it was announced today by Jason Hall, Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
Reporting to Hall, Baker heads multiple departments within Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which collectively oversee the execution of all marketing initiatives, overall operations, and business and legal affairs of the division. She is also responsible for supervising creative development, the videogame green-lighting process and the company’s game publishing plan.
“Debra’s extensive career at Warner Bros. is a testament to her great understanding of the process and strengths in finding innovative growth potential, which is highlighted by the development of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment,” Hall said. “With her significant abilities to direct the company in several key areas, we are looking forward to making new strides in creating quality games and exploring all of our possibilities within the interactive space.”
Baker joined Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2004 as Vice President of Legal Affairs and Operations after serving as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for Warner Bros. Corporate Business Development & Strategy. Commencing her nine years at Warner Bros., her previous role was Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs, General Counsel for Warner Bros. Studio Stores.
Prior to Warner Bros., Baker held the position of partner at Long & Levit in San Francisco, California. She also previously served as an associate attorney with Adams, Duque & Hazeltine and Rogers & Wells. Baker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.# # #
