Delyth Lewys-Lloyd Promoted To Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs-Europe, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution And Mark Lieblein Promoted To Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution
(May 29, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - Delyth Lewys-Lloyd has been promoted to Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs-Europe and Mark Lieblein has been promoted to Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, it was announced today by Jeffrey Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.
In their new posts, Lewys-Lloyd and Lieblein will be responsible for all aspects of legal and business affairs for the division, including license negotiations, distribution agreements, acquisitions, marketing and promotional agreements, Web site agreements pertaining to the division’s business-to-business site (www.wbitv.com) and localized in-country promotional sites, and agreements relating to the division’s investments in television services around the world. Lieblein is based at the division’s headquarters in Burbank and Lewys-Lloyd works out of Warner Bros.’ London office. Both report to Ron Miele, Senior Vice President, Business Affairs & General Counsel, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD).
“Mark and Delyth have been with us since 1997, and in that time they’ve demonstrated again and again an acute understanding of business and legal affairs that has really furthered our operation,” said Miele. “As the arena of international television distribution grows more and more complex with an ever-increasing number of platforms, professionals of Delyth and Mark’s caliber are absolutely essential to our division’s continued success.”
Lewys-Lloyd most recently served as Director, Legal & Business Affairs Europe, a post she’s held since joining WBITD in 1997. Prior to that, she spent five years in private practice at Frere Cholmeley Bischoff in London, with an emphasis on the entertainment industry. Lewys-Lloyd is a solicitor qualified in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree from University of Birmingham.
Lieblein moves up to his new post from Director, Legal & Business Affairs, a position he’d held at WBITD since joining the company in 1997. Prior to Warner Bros., he served as Director of Business & Legal Affairs at The Disney Channel in Los Angeles and, before that, was in private practice. Lieblein holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a juris doctor from New York University School of Law. # # #
