Don Tannenbaum Promoted To Senior Vice President, Systems And Sales Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures
(January 24, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Don Tannenbaum has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Systems and Sales Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.
In his new capacity, Tannenbaum will continue to oversee the North American distribution sales systems for Warner Bros. Pictures. Additionally, he will expand his responsibilities into the exploration of Digital Cinema and other related areas of new technology as it relates to distribution.
“Don has played a key role in the development of new and innovative systems for our sales organization,” said Fellman, “and I am pleased to acknowledge his many contributions to our Company’s success with this well-deserved promotion.”
Tannenbaum began his tenure at Warner Bros. Pictures in 1976 as a sales trainee in the New York office. In 1979 he moved to Burbank as Assistant Director of Sales Administration, and was promoted in 1988 to Vice President of Systems and Development. # # #
