“Extra” Sets Full Talent Cast Ahead of September 9th Launch – Along with Host and Managing Editor Billy Bush, Jennifer Lahmers, Renee Bargh and Nate Burleson Named Correspondents
(September 6, 2019 – Burbank, CA) — “Extra” has announced the full talent line-up joining host and managing editor Billy Bush when the Daytime Emmy Award-winning, entertainment news show premieres its 26th season with an innovative new format on September 9th nationwide including select Fox Television Stations.
Bush will be joined in the Los Angeles bureau by longtime correspondent Renee Bargh and new correspondent Jennifer Lahmers, fresh off anchoring the morning news for New York’s WNYW Fox 5.
“Extra” will also expand its newsgathering with bureaus in three entertainment capitals: New York, Las Vegas and Nashville.
Fronting coverage from Times Square, the series welcomes former NFL star and NFL Network Host and CBS Sports commentator Nate Burleson.
Country singer Jana Kramer has been named special correspondent in Nashville, where she will tap into her extensive country music relationships reporting from Music Row. “Extra” also welcomes back former co-host Charissa Thompson as special Las Vegas correspondent. Longtime special correspondents Terri Seymour, Michael Corbett, and Adam Glassman will also continue to report.
The all-new nationally syndicated “Extra” kicks off on September 9th with brand new interviews with Alec Baldwin, John Travolta and full coverage from the Toronto Film Festival including the cast of the highly- anticipated film, “Hustlers.” Also, in-depth interviews with sports legends Kobe Bryant and Rodger Federer and rock star Jon Bon Jovi.
"Extra" is helmed by senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey and executive producers Theresa Coffino and Jeremy Spiegel. The show is produced by Telepictures and distributed by Warner Bros.
