On February 4 Warner Home Video Releases Academy Award-Winning Favorites
(December 11, 2002 – Burbank, CA) – On February 4, Warner Home Video (WHV) rolls out the red carpet with a star-studded array of very special Academy Award®-winning films making their way to DVD: “Driving Miss Daisy Special Edition,” “Mildred Pierce” and “A Patch of Blue” -- remastered, with documentaries, commentaries and special features -- will sell for $19.98 SRP.
Additionally, on March 4, WHV will release two Oscar® Best Picture Collections which feature six classic films recently remastered on DVD. The Epic Dramas Collection includes “Ben-Hur,” “Casablanca” and “Gone with the Wind” and the Classic Musicals Collection features “An American in Paris,” “Gigi” and “My Fair Lady.” Both are being released in collectible gift sets to coincide with the 75th Annual Academy Awards and each will be priced to own at $49.98 SRP.
Oscar® Best Picture Collections’ Special Features
These Oscar® Best Picture Collections (Epic Dramas and Classic Musicals) will include special features like audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes documentaries, cast interviews, soundtracks in 5.1 Digital Audio, theatrical trailers and much more (extras vary by title).
