Freddie Prinze, Jr. Goes Undercover With Jamie Kennedy In The Season Premiere Of “JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment”
(September 16, 2002 – Burbank, CA) — “Scooby Doo” star Freddie Prize, Jr. joins forces with Jamie Kennedy to dupe an entire acting class on the season premiere of “JKX: THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT” on September 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Prinze and Jamie Kennedy set up an acting class full of students who think they are there to be coached but soon realize the seminar is a front for a robot-worshipping cult. Portraying a devout follower of the robot “Bliss” and their leader Kennedy, Prinze attempts to convince the actors in the class to give up all their wordly possessions to this robot for a life of stardom.
Prinze was last seen in the blockbuster hit “Scooby Doo” as the ever-dependable Fred opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar and Matthew Lillard. He will start production soon on the much-anticipated sequel. Other film credits include “Summer Catch” and “She’s All That” for which he was nominated for an MTV Movie Award. He was also nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.”
From executive producers Jamie Kennedy, Fax Bahr & Adam Small, Mike Karz and Brian Hartt, the series is produced by Bahr Small Productions and Karz Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television Production and Big Ticket Television, A Paramount / Viacom Company. # # #
