Internationally Beloved Star Bugs Bunny To Celebrate Birthday
(July 22, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – Famed cartoon actor Bugs Bunny, whose timeless appeal has made him an audience favorite throughout his distinguished career, will be celebrating his birthday this Sunday, July 27.
Asked about his special day, Bugs replied, “Like fine wine, I only get better with age.” When pressed to reveal his exact age, the star answered, “Let’s just say I’ve got a picture in my attic that’s getting grayer by the hare.”
Later this year, Bugs will be starring in the live action adventure comedy “Looney Tunes: Back in Action,” which will arrive in theatres Friday, November 14th. Presented by Warner Bros. Pictures, the Baltimore/Spring Creek Pictures production also stars Brendan Fraser, Jenna Elfman and Steve Martin, as well as Bugs’ long-suffering sidekick Daffy Duck.
“Looney Tunes: Back in Action” is directed by Joe Dante and produced by Paula Weinstein and Bernie Goldmann. The screenplay is by Larry Doyle, and the story is by Larry Doyle and John Requa & Glenn Ficarra. Music by Jerry Goldsmith. The film will be released worldwide by Warner Bros.
