Jay Levine Named Vice President, Business Planning, Warner Bros. Television Group
(April 14, 2010 – Burbank, CA) – Jay Levine has been named Vice President, Business Planning, Warner Bros. Television Group, it was announced today by Bruce Rosenblum, President, Warner Bros. Television Group.
In the newly created position, Levine, who will be based in Burbank and report to Craig Hunegs, Executive Vice President, Business Management, Warner Bros. Television Group, will work closely with the TV Group’s senior management and the Studio’s Business Development and Strategic Planning department on potential acquisitions, growth initiatives, new business development and financial planning for the TV Group.
“As we plan for growth in production and distribution as well as expand on our core creative expertise, Jay brings a fresh perspective, strong business skills and great instincts to our business,” said Hunegs. “He has quickly become a valued member of our team.”
Levine joins WBTVG from The Walt Disney Company where he worked as an Associate in their Corporate Strategy and Business Development Group. Prior to that, he was Senior Manager, Finance & Business Development for ESPN.com. Levine began his career at Bear Stearns & Co. in New York as a Financial Analyst in their Media & Entertainment Investment Banking Group.
Levine earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and a Master’s of Business Administration (in Accounting and Finance) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
