Jill Olsen Promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, Telepictures Productions
(December 11, 2012 – Burbank, CA) – Jill Olsen has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, Telepictures, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President, Telepictures.
Olsen will oversee all aspects of Telepictures' finance and administration operations, including production financing and accounting as well as human resources. In addition, she will play a major role in managing budgets, forecasts and operational financial reporting for Telepictures. Olsen will report directly to David Decker, Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, for Telepictures.
"Jill has been an integral member of the Telepictures team for the last 21 years and has consistently risen to the challenges of her evolving roles both on the production side of the business as well as the administrative side,” said Estey McLoughlin. “Jill’s combined production and financial expertise will be instrumental in expanding our infrastructure and helping us to innovate and seize opportunities in order to grow our overall business at Telepictures.”
Prior to this promotion, Olsen served as Sr. Production Executive at Telepictures since 2009. In 2008, Olsen served as the Co-Executive Producer of “Judge Jeanine Pirro” for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy. During her tenure at Telepictures, Olsen had also held the position of Director of Finance and Production Management.
Olsen began her career at Telepictures in 1991, when she started as a Production Accountant and then became an Accounting Supervisor and Director of Production, before holding the title of Executive in Charge of Production for “Judge Mathis,” where she was responsible for all financial, physical production and administrative aspects. Olsen holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California in Communications Arts and Sciences and resides with her family in Los Angeles.
