Jody Zucker Promoted To Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel At Warner Bros. Television
(August 5, 2005 - Burbank, CA) - Jody Zucker has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Warner Bros. Television, it was announced today by Marjorie Neufeld, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Warner Bros. Television, to whom he will continue to report.
Zucker joined the company in 2000 as Vice President, Television Legal Affairs, with Deputy General Counsel duties added in 2002. He is involved in all facets of Television Legal Affairs for the studio. In addition, Zucker has been the primary legal counsel on the hit series’ “Gilmore Girls,” “The OC” and “Joey” as well as freshman shows “Related” and “Hot Properties.”
As part of his expanded responsibilities, Zucker will work closely with Warner Bros. Executive Vice President Craig Hunegs overseeing the Television Clearance and Integration department. “Jody has a tremendous depth of experience in production related legal issues, and this expertise makes him a natural choice as we get more immersed in product integration with our network partners” said Hunegs. “His ability to navigate the myriad legal issues inherent in television production and adapt to new business models makes him an important member of our team.”
Prior to Warner Bros. Television, Zucker was Vice President, Legal Affairs at Paramount Network Television. He began his career as a litigator in private practice in New York City, eventually moving to Los Angeles to join the firm of Christensen Miller Fink Jacobs Glaser Weil & Shapiro and then in-house with the ABC Television Network.
