John Cooke Promoted To Vice President, Production Finance, Telepictures Productions
(June 27, 2011 - Burbank, CA) – John Cooke has been promoted to Vice President, Production Finance, Telepictures Productions, it was announced today by Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President, Telepictures Productions.
In his new post, Cooke will continue to oversee all aspects of Telepictures' production financing and accounting, managing over 15 production accountants. He will continue to report to Richard Inouye, Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration.
"John has been instrumental to our success in creating and expanding the financial systems that have propelled our tremendous growth," said Estey McLoughlin. "He is a key member of our executive team and very deserving of this promotion."
An eighteen year veteran of Telepictures, Cooke has served as Director of Accounting for Telepictures since 2004, overseeing accounting for multiple productions including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Extra,” “The Bonnie Hunt Show,” “Judge Mathis,” “Judge Pirro,” “Tyra,” “TMZ,” “Lopez Tonight” and “The Dr. Keith Ablow Show.” Previously, Cooke held the post of Manager of Accounting from 2001-2004, working for multiple productions including “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” “Extra,” “Elimidate,” “Change of Heart,” “The Sharon Osbourne Show,” “The Larry Elder Show,” “The Caroline Rhea Show” and “Street Smarts.” Cooke served as Supervisor of Accounting, Telepictures, from 1997-2001 and as Lead Production Accountant on “Carnie” from 1995-1996. Cooke started at Telepictures in 1993 as Assistant Accountant on “Jenny Jones.”
Cooke is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a BA in Radio, TV and Film.###
