(May 8, 2000 – Burbank, CA) - What could be cooler than watching your favorite TV shows and eating your favorite Kellogg’s® cereal for the chance to win one of 400 prizes each day for two weeks?… Kids’ WB! and Kellogg invite all kids -- television watchers and cereal munchers -- to watch-eet-and-win during the “Kellogg’s™ Eet ’Em Up And Win Sweepstakes on Kids’ WB!”
Beginning Monday, May 15, Kids’ WB! and Kellogg will give away 400 prizes each day (Monday-Saturday) for two weeks, including Pokémon bikes and computer games, Men In Black video games and Game Boys, and Batman Beyond and Max Steel action figures, among other exciting giveaways. Kids across the country will have the opportunity to win by watching Kids’ WB! and getting a secret code inside Kellogg’s® cereal boxes specially marked with the “Eet and Ern” logo. Each day a letter will be announced on-air during Kids’ WB! The kids with the daily letter in their “Eet and Ern” secret code will be eligible to call the toll free number 800-882-5600, during the 15-minute window immediately following the announcement, to get the chance to win one of the 400 daily prizes.
On Saturday, May 27, kids will have the opportunity to be one of four grand prize winners that will receive The Ultimate Kids’ WB! Action Pack, which will include one of each daily prize given away during the two weeks of the promotion.
The “Kellogg’s™ Eet ’Em Up And Win Sweepstakes On Kids’ WB!” national on-air promotion is an overlay to the Kellogg’s™ “Eet And Ern” internet based loyalty program that allows kids to collect codes in Kellogg’s® cereal boxes and earn points to redeem for toys and sporting goods.
The “Kellogg’s™ Eet ’Em Up And Win Sweepstakes On Kids’ WB!” will offer kids the best of both worlds…eat cereal and watch the number one kids’ network!!
