Kim Waugh Named Vice President, Post Production Services, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities
(January 24, 2005 – Burbank, CA) – Kim Waugh has joined Warner Bros. Studio Facilities as Vice President, Post Production Services, it was announced by Norman Barnett, Senior Vice President, Post Production Services, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities (WBSF).
Based in Burbank, Waugh will serve as a member of the post production services senior management team which oversees marketing, sales, talent management, facilities and technical operations.
"Kim is a highly respected post production executive with many years of solid experience,” said Barnett. “Warner Bros. Studio Facilities has consistently set a standard of excellence in the industry, and having Kim on our team will be invaluable in taking that standard to the next level."
Waugh joins WBSF from Ascent Media Creative Sound Services, where he served as senior vice president of sales and marketing, managing sales and marketing for worldwide divisional facilities. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years at Soundelux, most recently as president of Soundelux Vine Street Studios and Signet Soundelux Studios.
Warner Bros. Studio Facilities oversees one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production operations in the world. The 110-acre Warner Bros. Studio lot and the 32-acre ranch facility is home to a complete range of production-related services. Warner Bros. Studio Facilities Post Production Services continues to be a leader in sound design, mixing and editorial services and DVD audio mastering, employing the most skilled technicians and operating the most technologically-advanced equipment in the industry. The current sound campus includes seven dubbing stages, the Eastwood Scoring Stage, two ADR stages, one Foley stage, and 179 traditional and 35 digital editing rooms.
