"Larry King Live: The Greatest Interviews" DVD From Warner Home Video
(February 21, 2007 - Burbank, CA) — Larry King, CNN’s "King of Talk," is headed to DVD on April 17, 2007, when Warner Home Video releases "Larry King Live: The Greatest Interviews," as part of CNN’s celebration of Larry King's 50th anniversary in broadcasting. Featuring King's best interviews with a virtual who's who of movie and television stars, comedians, talk show hosts, presidents and news makers from CNN’s longest-running interview program, “Larry King Live,” this three-disc set contains over nine hours of extraordinary and entertaining programming, hosted by Larry King in his trademark style. The DVD is priced to own at $34.98 SRP with an order due date of March 13, 2007.
“Larry King Live” premiered on CNN in 1985 as the first worldwide phone-in television talk show and the program became renowned for its mix of political debates and topical discussions. TV Guide has called King “the most remarkable talk show host on TV ever.” The Emmy Award® winner has interviewed multiple presidents, including Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, world leaders, celebrity legends and more. King broke the cable industry rating record, reaching 16.8 million viewers in 1993 during the famed NAFTA debate between Al Gore and Ross Perot – a cable record that had stood for 13 years.
