Lawrence Yee Named Managing Editor Of TooFab.Com
(March 10, 2011 – Burbank, CA) – Lawrence Yee has been named the Managing Editor of TooFab.com. TooFab covers celebrity news and glamorous life of celebrities. The announcement was made today by TMZ Executive Producers Harvey Levin and Jim Paratore and General Manager Brett Bouttier.
Since April 2010 when TMZ launched TooFab.com in its beta version, the site has grown 360% in monthly uniques. Now as TooFab.com is gearing up for its official launch, it has a solid base of 1.6 million unique visitors per month according to comScore (Source: comScore Media Metrix, January 2011). TooFab (2,512,000 total monthly unique visitors) is already reaching more people than established sites like PopSugar Entertainment and Culture (2,404,000 total monthly unique visitors), Vanityfair.com (1,777,000 total monthly unique visitors) and ETonline.com (400,000 total monthly unique visitors) according to comScore (Source: comScore Media Metrix, January 2011). With the appointment of Yee, TooFab.com will continue to be the go-to destination for all things FAB by covering celebrity fashion, award shows, weddings, babies and more.

Yee has been covering the world of entertainment, celebrities, fashion/style and pop culture for the past ten years. Since 2009, he held the position of Senior Producer at Yahoo! where he oversaw the programming of all entertainment content on the portal’s front page. Yee also held this position from 2006-2007. From 2007-2009, Yee was the Managing Editor of omg!, where he oversaw the day-to-day programming of the site. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving the site to the number one site in comScore within four months where it has remained ever since. From 2005-2006, Yee was an Editorial Producer at Yahoo! Sports and also was a researcher at ABC Sports from 2002-2004.
Yee holds a Bachelor of Mass Communications from U.C. Berkeley.
Yee is replacing David Caplan who is leaving the site to pursue other interests.
