Lisa Mundt Named Vice President, International Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures
(September 29, 2000 - Burbank, CA) - Lisa Mundt has been named Vice President, International Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Angelina Speare, Senior Vice President, International Operations & Finance, Warner Bros. Pictures.
In this newly created position, Mundt will assume responsibility for strategic planning for international operations, with full operational responsibility for a number of territories, as well as supervise Warner Bros. Pictures’ international non-theatrical business. Mundt will also take an active role in systems development related to Warner Bros. Pictures’ international theatrical reporting systems, and directly assist Speare on special projects related to cost containment, territory profitability and home office operations.
Mundt joins Warner Bros. Pictures from the Motion Picture Association (the international branch of the MPAA), where she was most recently Vice President, Television. Mundt joined the MPA in 1994 as Director, Theatrical, and developed the MPA’s electronic international box office reporting system. Prior to that, she worked in business affairs for Disney’s international distribution division.
Mundt received her international MBA from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ, and a bachelor’s degree in international business from Simpson College, Iowa. # # #
