Liz Huszarik Promoted to Executive Vice President, Media Research & Insights, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution
(February 28, 2012 – Burbank, CA) – Long-time Warner Bros. research executive Liz Huszarik has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Media Research & Insights, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, it was announced today by Bruce Rosenblum, President, Warner Bros. Television Group and Office of the President, Warner Bros. Entertainment, to whom Huszarik will now report.
Huszarik will co-manage the Media Research & Insights team with long-time department head Bruce K. Rosenblum [no relation], who, as Chairman of the Time Warner Research Council, will shift his day-to-day responsibilities to focus on the state-of-the-art Media Labs in Burbank and the recently opened one in New York at the Time Warner Center. Huszarik will be tasked with providing research support, analytics and insights for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Warner Bros. Animation and Telepictures Productions, including traditional, emerging and digital platforms.

Huszarik moves into her new post from Senior Vice President, Media Research & Insights, a position in which she had held since 2000. She had worked her way through the ranks, severing as Vice President and previously Director, having joined the company as Manager, Warner Bros. Media Research in 1991. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Huszarik served as an Account Executive at KEYT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, CA, having begun her career as a Programming Associate at TeleRep in New York.
Huszarik is involved with a number of professional television research organizations including the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and Promax. She frequently serves as experts on industry panels and has taught acourse in research and programming at California State University, Northridge for the past 12 years.
