Meet DC Universe at RTX in Austin!
(June 26, 2019 – Burbank, CA) – DC Universe will be at RTX in a big way this July - bringing panels, screenings, exclusive giveaways and limited edition merchandise from Hot Topic via the DC Pop-up and Super Hero Experience. Held in Austin, TX on July 5-7, RTX is Rooster Teeth’s annual fan convention and Texas’s largest animation, gaming and comedy experience.
Fans of DC Universe’s hit original series “Young Justice: Outsiders” will be treated to a special screening and panel on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 4:30-6:00pm featuring producer Brandon Vietti and “Young Justice” voice talent (“Courtney Whitmore”) and “DC Daily” host, Whitney Moore. The panel is part of RTX’s Animation Festival. Everyone who attends will receive a “Young Justice: Outsiders” limited edition RTX poster, created by Warner Bros. Animation from the series model sheets and featuring fan favorite character, “Forager.”
DC fans won’t want to miss the immersive, interactive DC Pop-up Shop Experience, packed with instagrammable photo opps and exclusive Batman 80 merchandise from Hot Topic. Plus, RTX attendees who sign up for an annual DC Universe membership will receive an exclusive Batman poster. Drawn in the style of Rooster Teeth’s “RWBY,” by artist Tobin Lee it celebrates 80 years of the legendary Super Hero. Barbara Dunkelman, voice of “RWBY” character Yang Xiao Long, will visit the DC Pop-Up Experience at 3:30 PM on Friday, July 5, to unveil the Batman 80 poster. The DC Pop-up Shop Experience will be located at the Austin Convention Center and will be open during show hours.
Praised by critics and fans alike, the second half of “Young Justice: Outsiders” will debut exclusively on DC Universe on July 2, 2019. “Young Justice: Outsiders” continues the story with our favorite teen superheroes facing the threat of metahuman trafficking. Three episodes of “Young Justice: Outsiders” will premiere on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. DCU members have access to enhanced episodes from the first two seasons, original prequel comic book chapters, and a behind-the-scenes documentary featuring Whitney Moore.
