Melinda Hage To Head Current Programs, Warner Bros. Television
(July 18, 2001 – Burbank, CA) - Melinda Hage has been named head of Current Programs, Warner Bros. Television it was announced today by Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television.
Hage assumes supervision of the day-to-day creative aspects of all Warner Bros. Television series. She moves into the position previously occupied by Trent Jones, who recently signed a development deal with WBTV.
“Melinda is an exceptional executive with great creative instincts,” said Roth.
Her leadership abilities and her strong relationships with the networks and our producers will greatly benefit our company.”
Hage joined the company in 1994 and rapidly rose through the ranks, being named Director, Current Programming in 1996 and Vice President, Current Programming from 2000 – present.
Jones joined Warner Bros. (then Lorimar Television) in 1992 working in the research department. He moved into current programming in 1994 as a Director. # # #
