Melinda Hage Promoted To Vice President Current Programs Warner Bros. Television
(November 14, 2000 – Burbank, CA) - Melinda Hage has been promoted to Vice-President, Current Programs it was announced today by Trent Jones, Senior Vice-President, Current Programs, Warner Bros. Television.
“Melinda has that rare combination of great creative instincts, exceptional organizational skills and strong relationships with producers and talent,” said Jones.
“We are very fortunate to have her.”
Hage moves up from Director, Current Programs. She will continue to oversee creative affairs on key series including “The Fugitive,” “Freedom,” and “The Jamie Foxx Show.”
Hage has worked on numerous series for the studio including the Emmy award-winning “Murphy Brown,” “Suddenly Susan,” “Two of a Kind,” “Vengeance Unlimited” and “Step By Step.” She joined the company in 1994 as an assistant to the Senior Vice-President of Comedy Development and rapidly rose through the ranks, being named Director, Current Programming in 1996. # # #
